Subscriptions

Subscriptions are a special boolean variable that provides a quick and easy way of doing segmentation. Where a recipient is subscribed to a particular recurring event, for example a monthly newsletter or an annual birthday email, then segmentation can be performed using this information.

For example, this can be used on the Audience tab when doing segmentation for a campaign, you could drag the Is Subscribed tool to the workspace and select one of the subscriptions that have been set up. All recipients that are currently subscribed to that list will automatically be selected.
