Campaign Manage 6.2.1 |
6.2.1 |
Release Date: 29 June 2018
This service release includes enhancements and fixes to issues raised by Alterian customers and partners.
|
- It is now possible to define Control Groups in Campaign Designer. The new Control Group element in Campaign Designer allows the marketer to select a random sample of recipients from the campaign's Audience who will be excluded from receiving any promotions from the campaign, but still remain in the campaign flow. It is then possible to measure the Control Group's relevant post campaign activity and compare it to the activity of the group contacted by the campaign, to provide a baseline for accurately measuring the true value of the campaign.
- It is now possible to execute campaigns in a Test Mode in Campaign Designer. This feature allows marketers to test, pause, edit, clear and re-test campaigns, as well as providing flexibility to add break points by disconnecting elements and running the campaign from the start to a specific point, in isolation. Email outputs are to a single recipient, and file output allows limited record export, all isolated from existing history processing, providing the marketer with more tools for campaign validation prior to live execution.
- A new user experience for Segments users, giving a Data Tree View and column Value Picker supporting drag and drop interaction with Segment Documents throughout the Segments, Campaigns and Insights applications.
- Further enhancements to the User experience in Campaign Designer as we now expose campaign canvas pan and zoom allowing easier navigation on large campaigns as well as the ability to zoom out for an overall campaign flow view.
- The new GDPR regulations require the application to provide the ability to investigate potential data breaches. Campaign Manager, contains a comprehensive export audit which captures date/time, user, export type and other key information for analyzing user export activity.
- An update to the back-end processing occurring as part of uploads of files into the CM file store, so that it should use less disk storage space for larger files.
