Settings are divided into four categories:
Configuration settings can be modified by using the Engine Configuration Screen of the Engine Administration Utility. If a call is made to Engine for a Cerberus setting which either does not exist or is mis-spelt, the Engine code will now return an error in the Cerlog. The error message will look something like the following: INFORMATION SYSTEM Cannot set invalid Configuration setting 'Dgn_ImmediateDelete'. Note: Changing the default configuration settings can have an adverse
effect on Engine if not carried out correctly. If there is any uncertainty
about possible consequences of changing a setting, please consult with Alterian
Support before making the change.
