Assigning Permissions To A Group

The permissions applied to a Group will depend on what the group is required to access on the system.

Procedure

1. Select the Permissions tab.
2. Click Edit.

Inherit means that the Group created inherits the permissions of the Group above it. If the check box is selected, it does not mean that all Group members are able to perform that action.

For example, the permission inherited does not allow members of that group to Edit Campaigns. To do this the Inherit check box must be cleared, and the Allowed check box must be selected. Note that it is not possible to select the Allowed check box while the Inherit check box is selected.

3. Apply any required permissions.
4. Click Save.
