Segment Editor tool

Use the Segment Editor tool on a Query Form to allow the end user to do their own segmentation using all the tools available in the Campaign Analytics and Predictive Analytics modules.

A lot of these tools require a degree of technical expertise and familiarity with Campaign Manager concepts, so be careful when including this tool in forms aimed at less experienced users, unless access to inappropriate tools has been restricted via the user security module.

Procedure

  1. Drag the tool from the toolbox, or select it from the Create new drop-down.
  2. In the Question field added to your configuration screen, provide a question that guide the end user to make their selection:

What to do next

End users can drag in columns from the Data Explorer or tools from the Tool box. Multiple lines can be joined with AND, OR, Exclude options.

When the query form is processed, counts for the individual query elements will be displayed in line, and the final count for the entire form will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
