Polling

Polling controls how often the campaign checks for new actions to perform. The type of action, and the context in which it is being referenced will influence what settings are specified.

For example, if recipient events from an email campaign are being logged in real time, then you may wish to set the campaign to poll every few minutes so that immediate action can be taken. If events are loaded via a nightly data refresh, then polling would logically be set to 24 hours (86,400 seconds). Polling can be configured for tracks and events using the Attributes tab.
