Date Range

Use the Date Range on a Query Form to build questions using date columns in the database (selecting records based on events that have taken place within a specified time scale).

For example, select orders made between date X and date Y.

Procedure

1. Drag the tool from the tool box, or select it from the Create new drop-down.
2. In the first configuration field, enter a name for the question. Alternatively, leave this field blank so that the name is automatically assigned the question text that you enter in the following step.
3. Enter the question text that will appear on the worksheet.
4. Select the Show calendar check box if you want the user to be able to select from a calendar graphic on the worksheet. If not selected, two date fields will be displayed with calendar icons that will display the date picker.
5. Click into the Column field and select the date column that will form the basis of the question.
